About Our Founder
Mina Tabei is the President & CEO of Global Senior Care, bringing extensive experience across business management, senior care, and the non-profit sector. A recipient of Business in Vancouver's prestigious Forty Under 40 award, Mina is recognized as an emerging leader whose work is reshaping the future of home-based elder care in Canada.
Mina's passion for senior care took root during her studies at Simon Fraser University, where Gerontology courses sparked a deep curiosity about aging and human dignity. She went on to volunteer at a long-term care home while conducting research in Dementia and Alzheimer's care — and it was there, through candid, heartfelt conversations with residents, that she found her calling.
That experience shaped everything. Mina believes seniors deserve to spend their later years at home, surrounded by family, with their freedom and dignity fully intact. This conviction drives her commitment to advancing senior care through AI-powered initiatives and developing safer, more personalized, and more affordable care solutions that allow older adults to age in place with confidence and support.
She leads Global Senior Care with two guiding philosophies: that caring with love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries and that doing nothing for others is the undoing of ourselves.

Global and their staff are excellent at what they do. Both my parents have dementia and my sisters and I were having a very hard time managing their care. Their team was very attentive and provided us with a great care team who helped us on a daily basis with companionship, meals, housekeeping, and eventually personal care for my mom.
